347-470-DESII clearly remember taking the train into the city one day to meet a friend at a predesignated Starbucks. At the time I was completely surprised at the fact that I passed literally 5 Starbucks on the way to meet him. It was as if there was one on every other block. Why would there be a need for that many Starbucks stores so close together? It was this thought that made me wonder how many Starbucks there were in Manhattan and apparently I wasn’t the only one.
The following video is of Mark Malkoff, a guy who took that very question a few steps further. Mark organized a team of people to find out how many Starbucks franchises there really are in Manhattan and if it would be possible to visit them all in a day.
Like any crazy person would, he documented the whole thing.
